The Gross Vehicle Mass (GVM) is the manufacturer's specified maximum weight in kilograms that a vehicle can bear when fully loaded. With Tough Dog GVM upgrades, your Suzuki Jimny can be officially certified to handle a higher payload than what the original manufacturer intended, all while remaining fully compliant with relevant Australian Design Rules (ADR) and legal requirements.

When it comes to upgrading your Suzuki Jimny's GVM, you have two options based on the vehicle's registration status. If your vehicle has never been registered, you can pursue Federal approval. Our comprehensive Tough Dog GVM kit includes an additional compliance plate that will be securely affixed to your vehicle.

For already registered vehicles, the Federal compliance data is utilized in conjunction with a thorough inspection by an authorized State engineer to grant certification for the increased GVM capacity.

Suspension Lift: With the 100kg constant rear load required for this kit the average lift increase is 40mm. Lift will vary relative to the payload of the vehicle at the time.
